Effective Communication Skills for Care Managers & Care Supervisors
Aim
To enable participants to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally within health and social care settings by improving verbal and non-verbal communication skills and enhancing interpersonal relationships with staff, service users, families, and other professionals.
Objectives
By the end of the course participants will have:
- Recognised different styles of communication and understood how to improve understanding, build rapport, and develop positive working relationships
- Reflected on different methods of communication and identified when each approach is most suitable within care settings
