Effective Delegation

Aim:

The aim of this course is to introduce time management tools and techniques that allow managers and team leaders to manage their time more effectively and feel more in control.

 The course content reflects NISCC Standards for Employers of Social Workers & Social Care Workers 1.4. Social work and social care employers need to have an appropriate workload management system in place and regularly review it.

 

By the end of the course learners will have:

 Identified their biggest ‘time stealers’ which reduce their productivity and established solutions to reduce or remove their negative impact

  • Acquired practical time management skills for scheduling, planning and prioritising work
  • Discussed and practised a range of recognised time management techniques such as effective delegation, assertively saying ‘no’ and negotiating alternative solutions
